A question: does the 2-year period starts immediately after purchase, or can it be activated later? I have 4 months of paid subscription left with another VPN service, and I don’t want to lose them.

I’ve been using PIA for two years now. I seriously HIGHLY recommend this service. Normally for a year it’s around 40 some dollars. This deal is an amazing deal! If you run the desktop program, the speeds are about 5 percent slower. But duh! Security! They have the option to use their config files with OpenVPN which I currently do and the speeds are amazingly fast! I use this on my iPhone also.

Amazing customer service! Actually just chatted with one this morning. When you ask a question, there is no 5 min delay. Instant and very helpful!

There is a lot more features your get with PIA. I litterally renewed last month and they let you use gift cards to pay! Since I’m a college student and use the schools network, I know someone is sniffing around.

It’s this limited to new customers? How would current customers activate it?

Well, maybe you could ask for a refund on your current plan? Than tell them your upgrading? Honesty goes along way.
