This app helps solve the problem of sifting through hundreds of NOTAM's for your normal airfield and diverts. Crosswinds will show you all the NOTAM's for your airfields which you have added. Individual NOTAM's can be deleted with a simple swipe, and it will not be shown again. They can be marked as read with a tap, and the color of the NOTAM will change. The next time you check the NOTAM's, Crosswinds will only show you the NOTAM's which were not deleted and new NOTAM's which stand out because of the background color for quick review.
This app downloads METAR's, TAF's and NOTAM data for airfields around the world. It provides encoded and decoded weather.
The app will also filter NOTAM's based on effective and expired date. It can be set to hide NOTAM's which have expired or will not be effective until after a given number of days, which you set.
Crosswinds will show you data for airfields to include runways, frequencies, naivaids,and airfield diagrams (US only for diagrams) to be used for reference only
The data is obtained from NOAA, ADDS, ourairports.com, and AIDAP. Push it up!
