As a flash card opens, the app speaks out the 'number' that is displayed. The sound option is configurable though and can be controlled through the following process -

Turns off the sound completely
✤ Sound On - Numbers
As you swipe from one card to the other, the app speaks out the number that is displayed
✤ Sound On - Click
Swiping from one card to the other produces a 'click' sound
