In this game mode you will perform (the 2d version of) real Taido Hokei. The key to a good Hokei is explosive movement: so perform techniques within a line as quickly as you can, and take a 3 second pause between lines.
Earning enough points in a Hokei will unlock the next one. And after you have unlocked them all, you can continue with Advanced Hokei mode!
Of course, the ultimate goal is to be the best: is your Hokei good enough for a High Score?
And if you ever get bored, you can try to get a High Score in the never-ending bonus game mode called Sensei Says.
Out of our love for Taido came the inspiration to build a game! Taido is a Japanese martial art that emphasises movement, creativity, development and having fun.
What makes this game unique is the control system, which resembles Taido’s “Sotai” system of movement. The result is a mobile game with a fun combat system and exceptionally rich fighting mechanics.
