For some ‘twisted’ reason, the program needs the Window DirectPlay feature turned on. When you start up the program it offers to ‘install’ it. If you don’t it warns that some features won’t work. The feature that doesn’t work is the program startup. You get that error message. I like TwistedBrush Pro Studio but Pixarra should be embarrassed to advertise Win 10 compatability but require a Windows API that has been deprecated as early as Windows Vista (what 2004-2007?). In Windows 10 the API is turned off. If you absolutely want to run this prog you have to go to Control Panel : Programs and Features : Turn Windows features on or off : Legacy Features : DirectPlay
