I wasn’t sure exactly what yo’d use this for then decided I might create an ‘app’ for Facebook, as Facebook seems to hog memory a bit in my browser.
The app creation process was easy and the actual Facebook ‘app’ was very quick to open and seemed much quicker to scroll etc than in my browser
BUT
two things stopped me from using it:
1. the text seemed quite fuzzy and a lot harder to read than the text in my browser
2. If I clicked on a facebook link in an email then it wouldn’t open it in the app – it would just open in my default browser as per usual. I can’t see a way around this. As one of the main ways I use Facebook is to read the email notifications and click on the links in the ones I’m interested in, then that was a showstopper for me.
