ASHARAF: The SOS downloader has been failing in the current Google Chrome.

So, folks, either right-click and manually select “save link as” or open the page in another browser, yeah, Microsoft IE Internet Explorer v11 still has it uses.

The license worked for me.

The options/settings/preferences are awkward, but this is v1, so maybe in 10 years with v2 they will figure out how to better communicate – for example, speed up and cleanup settings are … immediate? view the results before going ahead? happen during a anti virus scan? happen independently? wha?!?

Windows are NOT re-sizable, so it’s hard to review results.

Cleanup results are NOT itemized or toggleable.

Saved HTML web pages were considered viruses …
Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro was considered a virus …
VirusTotal uploader was considered a virus …
HijackThis was considered a virus …

Out it goes.

Free online scanners from Trend Micro, ESET, F-Secure, BitDefender, and others are more useful, and free.

Free Spybot Search & Destroy, free Super Anti Spyware, free Malwarebytes, free AdwCleaner, free JRT Junk Removal Tool, and so on.

Even Symantec has their free Norton Power Eraser.

Glary has some nice tools in Glary Utilities.

But their SUP Software Update Pro fails, and now this naive thingy, apparently the talent is NOT spread evenly in the Glary camp.

Thanks for letting us explore this and share.
