Downloaded at 3:30 p.m. EST US and installed fine, self-registered, PRO 23.35.
I tried auto tagging one file at a time, and saw no problems, this only added info if available.
This program seems to default to DO NO HARM.
Good, so I just auto-tagged ~400 files … so far so good.
Added lyrics to the same ~400 files … again, no damage.
Whew.
Much of my mini-test collection is still unidentified, especially audio-books, so free Music-Brains Picard to the rescue next.
I’ve yet to find a program that I trust to auto tag, to auto import pictures, and to auto re-organize into directories according to my scheme:
C:\Music\Artist\Artist Date Album\Artist Date Song.whatever
That scheme lets me see an artist’s progression form earlier works to later works, AND the songs themselves stand alone if copied out to my MP3 player for portable review.
Thanks for letting us explore this tool, one of many to help us identify and organize our music library, and as I say, this one at least seems to DO NO HARM.
Kudos to author and music-and-artist lover Zoran Gvozdenovic — thank you, keep it up, I’m looking forward to more and more development of this, hopefully as carefully as this version.
