While I’ve heard mostly good reports on this product, the issue that Steve mentions above would bother me, and I’m not unhappy with my current (free) AV program, which I’ve been using for a few years now. The bottom line though is probably that I just can’t be bothered with short-term licenses for much of anything — as is common with a lot of these promo giveaways. Where there is at least a 1-year license on something of potentially great interest, that is where I may have a go with it.
