Is this game any good?

Ok, so I signed up for a Battle.net account. I activated the account by clicking a link in an email they sent me. I signed up for SMS Protect. I entered the code they sent to my phone. I went to the gift page and claimed my free Destiny 2 gift. I downloaded the Battle.Net app and installed it. I logged in to the app. I found found Destiny 2 in the list of games (not a list of games I own, just a list of what they sell). When I click on it I’m FINALLY given an option to install.

But wait! What is this game? Trailer is certainly impressive. Can it be played as a single player? Is it pay-to-win? What’s the game about? Will it run on my PC? I can’t find the answers to any of these questions anywhere, not in the app or on Blizzard’s site. It’s not even shown on list of games on the Blizzard site. No details on Activision or Bungee sites either, not even a price tag. What I did find: it takes AT LEAST 68 Gigagbytes to install (that’s Sixty-Eight, not 6.8), and more to allow for updates, saving games, and so on. I just checked the partition where my games are installed, 208 of them, and altogether they take only 125 GB. This one game will take over half the space used by all the games I have installed.

Has anyone played this, is it worth the space, and can it be played solo, will it even run on a two-year old Core i7 6700 at 3.4 Ghz with 2GB GTX 750 Ti and 16 GB RAM? Does it require additional payments to enjoy the game? Thanks in advance, sorry if I’m overcome by the space but I don’t want to spend the next several days downloading only to find out it won’t run or isn’t playable without much more $.
