Does anyone know if the “Game Booster” feature can be used with other programs? Does it trigger when a program goes into full screen, or does it have a list of games it supports, or do I simply enable it when needed? Does it let me configure what services & background tasks get suspended, and remember it by application?

I’m finding my PC is struggling to run music recording / editing applications. Some games are very slow. Somedays I need more open tabs in Chrome…. What I really want is a way to select at bootup (or when requesting a reboot) to choose one of several configurations that I define, and then boot into that configuration. Or without the reboot if possible. Something that lets me choose which services, background tasks and startup apps I want to run or disable, based on the type of work (or play!) that I want to do. I could do this back in the DOS days, does anyone know of a program that does this in Windows?
