I have to admit IOBit develops great software, but if it is IOBit it’s not going on my computer, that’s from years of experience.

Nags, and unintentional misbehavior, that’s been my experience … so …

1 – Turn off nags: Run FREE Microsoft [ SysInternals. com ] AutoRuns, and search [ iobit ] and un-toggle everything, and do this every time we run any IObit program … and do the same to clear CCleaner, Glary, Auslogics, WiseCleaner, Adobe, Opera, FoxIT, Malwarebytes, Spybit Search & Destroy, Super Anti Spyware, and so on and on – almost every program inserts it’s own schedule and auto runs to nag us to update and maybe buy something someday, this is NOT special to IObit – even Microsoft, Google, Apple all do it.

2 – Never auto anything: Run each IObit feature manually, one item at a time, carefully taking responsibility for each decision we make, for example, don’t clear “ghosts” from Device Manager if we want to simply re-plug our iPhone back into the same computer over and over, and NOT have to wait for it top re-recognize and reinstall drivers every single time.

… and of course, make copious Restore Points, backup our data, reboot in between changes to our computer, only make one change at a time, patience, patience, patience.

The ONLY IObit programs I find no value in are their anti malware products.

Also, IObit response with all-purpose fix-it page references when we ask for help with a sticky issue, and that can expand our resources.
