Based on the description given in the terms of the giveaway, this is the exact same noncommercial version as the freeware that is currently available on the developer’s website. The “full version” allows for commercial use, and removes the nag screens that popup and steal focus from whatever you are currently doing on your PC.
This is not an issue if you simply schedule daily backups during off peak usage times, but it is very annoying when I have set it to backup files hourly to save versions of save files I create in an app, and my altered excel files. I don’t mind a reminder every now and again when using free software, but for it to take over the screen every time a backup is made is obtrusive. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the automated backup to maintain previous versions of files that I create.
Plus, the only option is to let the program save the file(s) in SEPARATE Zip files underneath a master zip file, turning a simple task of retrieving a timestamped earlier version into a game of needle in the haystack to find when the file was actually changed and saved.
I have instead resorted to using versions and autosave in Excel, and making manual copies of my files in my app before saving changes.
