It would be an excellent background eraser but for one thing. The cost of using it. I do a lot of photo editing and would soon use up the 303 uses we get with this limited giveaway. Okay, we get 303 uses for free, but to continue using it thereafter we have to pay almost $2 for each use (unless you buy in bulk e.g. if you buy 1000 uses it costs $0.3 per image. They have an offer on at the moment where buying extra uses costs less e.g. $0.50 per image until Saturday morning; however, overall I’d rather use my free copy of Photoshop v9 (CS2) to get rid of backgrounds than pay such exorbitant prices. Overall this program is just a free demo and more importantly a big rip off.
That said; if you only use it very infrequently, it’s unlikely you’d use all of the free ones at least not in the next few years, so maybe it’s okay for some community members.
Sorry for being so negative; I like free software, but not that which has a price at the end of it for continued use. This site has been a fantastic place to visit for many years now and I’ve ended up purchasing upgrade licenses for quite a few software’s that I’ve originally got from this place for free.
