I don’t use FLAC files but as a test I had no problem whatsoever downloading (i.e. converting) Spotify tracks to .flac. I downloaded 10 different tracks quite easily:
– On the main dialog screen put a check mark in “Automatically convert to:”
– Then, on the dropdown menu (down arrow) just to the right of the Automatically Convert to:”, select “General Audio”
– On the General Audio selection panel (right pane of that dialog box) select “FLAC – Free Lossless Audio Codec *.flac” then download.
