I had purchased bitdefender from Newegg at the end of August 2015 1 user 1 PC. At the beginning of September I decided to activate it, from activation till I totally deleted it, it was aggravation alllll along the way. Initially sending me to 32bit for Win Xp ok than telling me I cannot use Webroot with Norton I can understand a conflict with bitdefender no prob. After running bitdefender as far as I was concerned it was using enormous resources averaging a Gig . My computer was slowing down eventually I looked at event viewer & EVERY SECOND of every moment this computer was running there was an error from Safebox even though I DISABLED Safebox, Safepay Parental Control it didn’t make a damn difference. to make a long story short as I stopped wanting to use this software they stopped Windows Xp software. I went through numerous emails with no resolve.
Even though I purchased from Newegg I believed it was Bitdefender’s problem product to refund my purchase which they didn’t & I would not & could not recommend this software to anyone it was far from living up to to the standards I would expect. I guess this is why it is constantly available at big discounts online.
