Should this software work in any part of the world (i.e., in any nation or country)? Should this software work only with DHCP enabled and without a static IP (i.e., with an IP obtained automatically from dhcp)?
I set dhcp disabled – static IP on two PCs in my home network; I’m in Italy and, although I completely disabled windows firewall (after I tried to set it for the software, inbound and outbound rules, without success), the software still won’t work.
Ok, it works in Italy and also with no dhcp and static ip.
I had to allow outbound connections in windows firewall, both for private profile and public profile.
I’d like to know how I should set the firewall when I’m blocking outbound connections (I have set it that way as my default setting).
