I have never used Ashampoo Backup and so cannot give any useful information, but after I have it installed I will come back and elaborate since I see others have had problems.
What I will say is that I have used many other Ashampoo programs and have found all of them to be very good. The FREE version installers tend to be heavy, but the programs themselves have all been good.
What I really came in here to say is a recommendation and that is to register on the Ashampoo site. Once you’ve registered instead of waiting for a license key you sign in and get that license key right away (they will also send an email too). The direct benefit is that when you register an Ashampoo program while logged in that particular program is now registered in your name and can be downloaded, installed, and registered whenever you need to. The license keys are also stored with each program on their site.
