I was a McAfee user, but on April 21, 2010, millions of Windows XP SP3 users ended up with a black screen because McAfee erroneously deleted a Windows core file needed to boot.
I waited 10 days, but McAfee never reinstalled the deleted file. Cf Windows News Magazine n ° 193.
Conclusion: I had to format and then reinstall and configure, which took me 15 days.
Since then, I no longer want to hear about McAfee and I bought Acronis True Image !!!
