First off, to get this to work, you need to download the program from the official site (https://www.apowersoft.com/phone-mirror), not the included download. Otherwise you will not be able to install on Windows 10 and Windows 7. Once you get past that, everything else is pretty straight forward. Jut don’t update it, so that the license will last for the lifetime which is given.

I like that I can share my screen and then capture the video, however I wasn’t able to transmit sound. Supposedly, there is streaming audio via AirPlay or Chromecast. But I don’t know how to do this, and didn’t see any explanation within the program to point to this resource.
I was also hoping that I didn’t need to be on the same network, so that it might act as a reverse TeamViewer (which works over data). It does allow you to connect from the computer, which then offers a way to control the phone. Or you can connect from the phone, which then allows you only to view what’s shown. If you do connect, the other device will show a welcome screen, so there are no surprises, no hidden spying.

I was not able to tilt my screen, and then have it show widescreen on my device. However when I played a video with MX Player, it automatically went into video mode.

Overall it’s a good start, and the lifetime access is a welcome addition. I did not like that sound didn’t transmit without additional “features installed”, but could not find a fault with the software other than that, once it was installed and working correctly.
