If I’ve installed it during the giveaway period and for some reason have to reinstall windows, will the installer still work? Or since there’s no serial will I have to purchase it?Dieses Giveaway ist nur Bauernfängerei, damit werden User als Versuchskaninchen angelockt und ausgenutzt. Letztlich bekam ich keine Aktivierung und diesen Hinweis, mich an den Support zu wenden. Ich erhielt keine Antwort auf meinen dreimaligen Mails und wurden von diesen überheblichen Strolchen ignoriert. Diese Aktionen sind eine Verarschung, nur so viel, wie in die hohle Hand geschissen. Ein Support der nicht reagiert und User ausschmiert, ist für den Abort (Klo)! Das was Vladonai Software hergibt ist nur eine verlängerte Trialversion. Die Online-Aktivierung hat
a: ein Ablaufdatum und ist
b: an die Hardware gebunden.Nach maximal einem Jahr ist diese abgelaufen, mit Hinweis “Trial expired”. Für dieses Affentheater wollen diese Strolche online aktivieren. Diese unschöne Erfahrung habe ich bereits mit 3 (drei) Vorversionen gemacht. In deren Beschreibung zu dieser Software finde ich keinen Heinweis auf eine zeitlimitierte Lizens und wird mit schönfärberischem Gerede umgangen. Ergo: das ist Diebstahl von Lebenszeit aller User die hinter das Licht geführt werden, mit Etikettenschwindel!

This morning we where doing maintenance works on our server, perhaps it was related (cannot confirm), just try again, if it was related all should work fine now if you’ll simply restart the program. In case if the issue will remain please contact our *support directly*, we’ll help.
Von Online-Aktivierungen bin ich ein strikter Gegener. Ein dabei sehr wahrscheinlicher Datenabfluss ist unkontrollierbar und die Möglichkeit besteht dabei, dass Schadsoftware implementiert werden kann. Kurios finde ich die verschlüsselte Keyfile mit einer Größe von etwa 12 bis 14 kb. Wozu? Finger weg von Giveaways die nicht offline per Serial aktiviert werden können, das sind “faule Eier”. Vertrauen ist gut, Kontrolle ist besser und immer angebracht. Zur Installation den Netzzugang trennen, dass kein “Ramsch” nachgeladen werden kann. Wenn alle Anwender das konsequent machen ist die Online-Aktivierung ganz schnell ausgerottet.
Ein gütlicher Vorschlag von mir, als kontinuierlicher Verbesserungsvorschlag hier:
Dass die Aktivierung künftig auch offline möglich ist. So kenne ich das von den Chinesen und Japanern. Bei der Installation wird eine Code-Nr. erzeugt mit der auf der Homepage ein Aktivierungs-Code abgefragt werden kann. Damit kann ich das Programm auch später noch aktivieren, wenn zum Beispiel das System neu aufgesetzt wird. Wie klingt das? Denken Sie einmal ernsthaft darüber nach und unterlassen Sie künftig solche Lockvogel-Angebote, womit die jeweiligen User letztlich mehr verärgert, aber nicht erfreut sein werden!
Ergänzung: Für fast jedes Programm gibt es mehr oder weniger gute Alternativen. Cinta Notes, aus Russland, ist zum Beispiel nur eines von vielen. Das soll aber keine Werbung dafür sein, auch bin ich nicht verwandt oder verschwägert mit dieser Firma. Dieses Programm wird ab und zu auch als Giveaway mit der Setup.exe von der Homepage angeboten und mit einer LEBENSLÄNGLICH gültigen Serial – zur beliebgen Neuinstallation. Auch spricht der Support oder der Entwickler (Name nicht mehr in Erinnerung) unsere Sprache – Deutsch, darüber war ich angenehm überrascht. Aus gutem Grund kommt auf meinem PC kein Programm das online aktiviert wird. Lieber verzichte ich ganz gerne darauf, das ist kleinste Übel. Mit Sandboxie mache ich zuerst einen Vortest. Wenn das mometane Programm Netzzugang begehrt, lernt es augenblicklich das Fliegen – von meiner Festplatte. So bleibt mein System sauber und ich bin auf der sicheren Seite.
Prozess Lasso als Giveaway, die wollten auch online aktivieren. Per Mail habe ich diese Firma um eine Serial gebeten, da ich keine online Aktivierung gestatte und erhielt anstandslos die von mir erwünschte Serial – WOW, geht also doch! Diese funktioniert uneingeschränkt zu jeder Zeit mit der Setup.exe von der Homepage. Klar, weil deren Aufrichtigkeit und Transparenz der Leitgedanke davon war. Das sind meines Erachtens die wahren Giveaways und frei, von eventueller Spitzbuberei. Auf dem Markt für Software tummeln sich viele Schafe, in verschiedenen Farben. Abermals bekräftige ich, dass ich KEINE (Schleich-)Werbung hier betreiben will.

(o:I like this program for so many reasons, it’s very good if it meets your needs. It comes very close to meeting my needs, and it’s easy to use, seems to work reliably. It’s very efficient on resources, using 8.2 MB of memory with all the default notes and a few other, including some with attached/embedded pictures. That might make it’s reminder feature worthwhile, since you could leave this running all the time. One serious issue with reminders (alarms), there’s no option to turn of the beeping sound. If I’m recording/capturing music or video, or in a Zoom meeting, I do NOT want the sound. Yes, I could exit AllMyNotes whenever I don’t want the sound to creep into other things, but then it’s not very useful, is it?
Aside from the sound on alarms, the main reason I don’t use it yet is because of its tree structure. Too often I have a note that fits into multiple categories. I spend too much time thinking about which category to put it in, then need to dream up extra key words to type into to the note so I can find it in a search if I’m thinking about a different category. Problem is lack of consistency in these extra keywords. If I don’t use the same words all the time, who knows what I’ll find in a search, and how can I remember 50-100-1000 keywords? I suppose I could create a note that holds all my keywords, but then I would need to close the note I’m adding, find & open my Keywords note, find or add the keyword(s) I want to use, remember them (or copy into Clip Diary), find & open my new note, add (or paste from Clip Diary) the keywords, then save my new note again. Too much work.
I generally like the tree structure, but when you have hundreds or thousands of notes, there needs to be more help for organizing them. One way would be to allow a live copy of a note to be placed under all the categories where it fits. Only one note is stored, but there can be multiple references to it. If I update the note from any of the places it appears in the tree structure, it’s updated in all of them because it’s only one note. I would like a way to see a list of all the places in the tree where that note is referenced, and to be able to add or delete those references at any time. The note is not deleted until its last reference is deleted. Would like some indicator on each note that says whether it has multiple references (either in the note or in the tree). And of course, I want to add multiple keywords per note. The “Tabbles” does this for files, and in searching you can specify keywords (tabbles) to include or exclude from the search.
Another option is to have an option to insert keywords from a list that I can change. The inserted keywords would also need to be “live” in the sense that they are tracked so I can see a list of every note that contains them, and if I change a keyword in the list, it’s updated in all those notes. It would be nice if the keyword list was also a tree structure, so the same keyword might appear more than once in a the keyword tree with different meanings or context based on where it’s listed in the keyword tree.
Either of these would take AllMyNotes to a new level of power, and make it capable of managing large numbers of notes, and still give flexibility in how they are used and whether anyone wants to use them.
As an example, I’d like to categorize the songs or song pieces I write. I could put links to sound and videos of the songs or my performance, or notes about the song (like settings on equipment, tempo, how it was recorded), but would also like to add keywords like happy or dark or soulful, or blues, rock, folk, fingerstyle, slide… Add progressions like I-IV-V or I-VI-V-VI, any odd chords used, what instrument (keyboard, guitar, bass, dulcimer, drum, etc.). Then when I’m trying to find things that fit together later, a search based on some keywords would get me there quickly. I wouldn’t need to remember the exact way I wrote the progression, or if I wrote “finger picked” or “fingerstyle”, because these would all be choices I made from a tree or list when I wrote the note. Now think about how this could help for tracking what software is installed on a PC, or birthday/christmas gift ideas, or recipies, or books, or warranty information, or medical information (do I file things under drugs or symptoms or doctor or date? Why not all of them!).
Sorry for the long comment, but I’ve been looking a tool that does all this for a long time. I’m hoping the developer will see this (might copy it to his site also).
[ @Ashraf] I have installed the program and finding it useful. Looking at the product site, I found that a portable version of AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe also exists. I will like to use portable version that can b installed on a USB and used on different computers.
However no serial number for the installer provided by SharewareOnSale as it is to get activaqted automatically online.
So I will appreciate if a serial number is provided for use with portable edition of AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe.ThanksGreat program, but if I’ve installed it during the giveaway period and then reinstall Windows afterward, will the .exe still work?

it would be nice to autodate time stamp.
Currently the DB is on a NAS so it is available to all my local PCs. This is sometimes problematic, locking the db file.
The ability to drop a file (instructional video) into a note is awesome.
Been using this and it’s predecessor ‘Infoselect’ since the 1990s for PW and contacts, it has grown up a lot.
The ability to link notes would be great. E.g. A server on Godaddy (login and pw) would connect to a server IP note of the revisions history, which would connect site users notes, which would connect to user’s profile notes and their credentials which would connect to blog posts or links, which would connect to resources etc. In simple terms: a tree visualizer where one note can connect to children and parent to show relationships. Another example: a cover letter template. that is in a note, then pulled and sent to a client. The client note only needs to link to the template instead of copying the template into a client folder. The note can show the directory tree for the client. In fact all standard brochures letters and memos can be stored in a client folder and linked to the template folder. Opening a client folder can link to all standard materials sent to the client rather than having to rely on traditional copy the template to the client folder so the salesperson can know what he sent some 3 years back. The auto time stamp along with linking hierarchy would be a grand addition.
Still waiting for Version 4 major upgrade.
