Gridinsoft Anti-Malware saying that file contain virus (high level) Malware.Win32.Gen.bot in file LangDLL.dll
it happened almost immediately after that i tried to install this program downloaded from your site. Gridinsoft Anti-Malware it is Good Ukrainian Antivirus it is not freeware anti-virus so i think i can trust to it. Virustotal said 2 from 62 , Bkav said HW32.Packed.AC4E. Maybe its wrong detecting but im worry.

Yes, it is a false positive. That happens a lot with apps from smaller software vendors. I am sorry. virustotal is a great source, do not get bothered by 2 detections!

I have been playing with the Crococrypt software for several years. Each version is getting better and better. It can encrypt very long filename without any problems. The interaction with Frank Hissen has been quick and helpful. I am so impressed with the software, that I have just paid for the Pro v1.5 version to support the software effort.

If the backup reflects (like a true mirror) the state of the files in the folder, and a file is deleted, so the mirror does not have that file, how can the backup then be used to bring the file back (restore) for disaster recovery?

It depends on your use case, what you are trying to accomplish. In manual mirror mode, the file would not get automatically deleted.
If your backup strategy involves multiple external drives, you would have older states. Think of it like using rsync…
