Seemed to install ok, but not picking up login screen. It is also not showing on the browser as Sticky password does. I use Edge, and I have no other browser, perhaps that is the problem.
    Anyone else having similar problems.

Brian, this is NOT a URL-Login password manager like Sticky Password. Stay with Sticky Password, it is much more useful.

It’s not even shareware – it’s trialware. You get 30 days to try it out and then it stops working (Windows version). At least you can set your clock to a date within your trial period and get your data via an export to a .csv file (I haven’t actually tried that). The records do have a comment field so you have a place to store all those pesky questions/answers a site might use to assure your identity. It would also be nice to have a “secure note” sub-file so you can store stuff like you family’s SSN or Health data, etc. You can work around it though. All in all I’d give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5.

I have their flagship product (Efficess) which pretty much includes Efficient Password, Efficient Calendar, Efficient Notes, etc. Software seems good, lots of capabilities. I already use (and highly recommend) KeePass for my passwords, reg codes, etc. — it allows big notes if needed. Drawback: no way to search within those big notes. Drawback 2: You need to use a third-party app if you want to use it on a phone (there are several). Synching to phone requires emailing the database file to yourself, opening the email on the other device, and saving database file to that device. If you often update stuff on multiple platforms, that’s probably not the best way to go for your needs.

Anyway, back to Efficient Password. There’s no app for iPhones, unless you get the Efficess program. Not sure if you can synch between that and Efficient Password on a PC. Should work*, and you would get all the other goodies in Efficess. Drawback: hasn’t been updated on iPhone for 2 years. I tried to synch over WiFi between Efficess on PC and Efficess on iPhone, it was surprisingly quick and easy. A comment in App Store said it does not synch Contact addresses, but everything else works.

Efficient Password lets you create groups for your passwords, and if you right-click one, a menu lets you open the relevant web page, copy your username and password. It takes 3 steps, just like for KeePass, but that’s not bad! Sure beats typing all that stuff and getting it wrong half the time. I tried a password manager that automatically opens, adds username, adds password with one click. Problem with that: Captchas, “What was your father’s mother’s maiden name” and other things interrupted it all the time. There’s no history that I can find (KeePass lets you see previous versions of passwords). While I can’t comment on Android use, Efficient Password for PC or in combination with Efficess (free) on iPhone is a pretty good option, worth a try.

    * – I also have Efficient Notes on my PC. I tried synching that with Efficess on iPhone and all the notes copied over, without losing the passwords or other non-note data. So I would think synching from Efficient Password to Efficess would work the same way.

The upgrades are for one year. The program though has a one computer lifetime license.
