Have downloaded it, but cannot find it to open and enter the License key.
    Am I doing something wrong?

“Manage Licence”->Refresh->Enter here Your Mail-Address and Your Licence Key. Then click “Activate Now”

This program is a piece of garbage and highly recommended not to install it.
First, without giving you any choice it secretly installs another program called Malware Hunter. This sucks.
It does upgrade to Pro properly when I enter my email address and the serial # that I received but this program falls short in many ways and I do not like it.
It does not list separately all the programs that need updating. Poor design.
It does not list your current version number and new version available.
It needs to be re-written and properly updated to make this program a user friendly one and practical to use.
I am uninstalling it right away.
I much prefer IOBIT Driver Booster, it is superior to this inferior program.

When I enter the lic code # you forwarded I get a message that it is invalid?
I have no problem getting to the activate link.

But, when I enter the code number you provided <dcee-a6a9-6dd6-6a86-867a> it is flagged invalid. Any help?

I’d largely echo John USA’s comments on this software. The lack of (current/new) version details, separate section showing which software can be updated etc limits its use to such a point you might as well just download the free Filepuma or SUMo apps instead. I like Glarys Utilities from the same developer but Software Updater isn’t worth the disk space let alone a licence fee.

[@JasonUK] I agree with the comments left by JasonUK and John USA. While this software can point you to some updates, it is far from comprehensive in what updates for your installed software it notifies you about. I’d estimate that it only works for about 25% of the software that I have installed, my set up includes software from many well known vendors, as well as a number of lesser known ones, this updater missed many from both categories. It also has a very annoying habit of notifying you of ‘hot’ downloads from Glary, that is the price you pay for ‘free’ software deals I guess.

@ JohnUSA try installing ‘Unchecky’ to stop secret installations, or try the ‘custom’ installation to uncheck installations by stealth, if there is a ‘custom’ option.

I had an older version that was about to expire, so deleted it before reinstalling this newer version. I had a hard time verifying that it was made by the same company, Glary, offering this product. Nearly all software has the manufacturer name all over the place. I thought this newer version might be easier to see that it is a Glary product, but nope. Are they ashamed of it or their name? It should install under Glarysoft with its other programs. I installed it, but am now suspicious of its pedigree.

This program is a piece of garbage and highly recommended not to install it.
First, without giving you any choice it secretly installs another program called Malware Hunter. This sucks.

There is a checkbox and there you can deselect it.

It does not list separately all the programs that need updating.
It does not list your current version number and new version available.

Look under the tab Updates. Here, the installed versions are displayed by already installed software and behind which new versions of the respective software is available. The Home tab displays software suggestions.

I much prefer IOBIT Driver Booster, it is superior to this inferior program.

Be aware! Software from IObit is Malware!
