Just downloaded and installed on xp 32. When launching the application, there is an alert saying ‘iris.exe is not a valid Win32 application’. I thought the description said it was an application for win 32 and 64 systems. Am I wrong? Did I download the incorrect installer? Please help. Thanks!

[@April] Nope, same here, fails on Windows XP, so “runs on anything” excludes some things, apparently.

Installed, activated and runs fine on Windows 7-64bit. The interface and options panels are not very user-friendly, as they require lots of scrolling to access, almost as though they were designed with smaller-screened, mobile devices in mind. Also, I could not find an all-in-one Help File to explain the less obvious features, of which there are many. However, it appears that you really can fine-tune this software to get the most from your system’s display in improving its affect on your eyes and, therefore, you productivity… and even your sleep!

Iris appears to be an extremely well-researched and carefully thought-out piece of programming. Its website includes very informative, detailed, well-written articles that explain the reasoning and scientific bases for the development of the program and the developer is very open to ideas and suggestions. He responded to one of my suggestions within minutes.

I look forward to really putting Iris through its paces.

    Thanks, Daniel Georgiev and SoS.

    Hey folks,

The dev is having some problems posting here so asked me to post these two comments for him:

Windows XP was supported in the past. It’s unsupported now, because of the new UI.
Will fix it in the future.

    Hi sangenxu,
Just tested the activation and it works fine on my computer. Make sure that there is no spaces in the activation code and try again. The time in the up right corner will change after activation :)

“It works on every operating system and has slick UI and good tech support.”
Shouldn’t this be available for a download on a Mac, then?
