1. My firewall is reporting that Kotobee Author.exe is requesting an outbound connection to lowpricessmith.net HTTPS (TCP 443)
No other program on my PC requests this so I don’t think it is a virus. If I block Kotobee Author from connecting to lowpricessmith.net then when I enter the serial number I get an error: “Connection timed out” so I assume it is something to do with the registration? I am just a bit wary of programs that connect to websites other than their own.2. Thanks! that makes sense

Don’t worry, your previous serial will still work. I’m just really puzzled about this lowpricessmith.net. Quite funny actually.[@Ayman A R]
I’ve done a google of lowpricessmith.net and you can see from this page:

That lowpricessmith.net is a PTR record of kotobee.com

Now, we have installed the release 1.2.15 but the software is asking us for a free serial number.
The issue is: If you click on the button in order to get the free serial, ther´s no website or page in order to obtain it.
Do you know how to obtain the free serial number enabling the publishing process?.
