I have tried 3 times to register this as the free one. I used the link you gave in the email I got. It said to re-start program for key to take effect and I keep getting nothing but the free one.

I have installed the product and done a text conversion to .doc format of a single 44-pages professionally produced pdf report.

    > The conversion is very slow.

    > Conversion using Visually mode was almost perfect (at least visually ; I can not vouch for the structure of the document). However, there were still some glitches. I’m unable to say whether they would have been easy to correct in Word.

    > Conversion using Editable mode was less satisfactory, with many obvious glitches.

    > The software is not high DPI aware. Big nuisance. You can go to the executable, and tick the box at Properties / Compatibility / Disable Display Scaling on High DPI Settings to correct that ; however, instead of having a blurry interface, you’ll have parts of the interface text cropped out of its frame. In my case, this means the product is not compatible with Windows 7 150 % display setting, which I cannot do without.

    > There’s almost nothing on the Hong-Kong-based developer’s website.

One thing on the mechanics of SoS website. I always have to post my comments twice in order for them to be published. The first time, I invariably get the “error” message in big red letters : “Do you really want to do that ?” (Well, yes, you ***…).

This, after having successfully solved the captcha. This means I always have to submit twice to the captcha, and type my name and email twice. Any chance of this being straightened out ? Thanks !

And no, I’m not a robot.

[@Clairvaux] Sorry, I’m still trying to identify the issue causing this because it never happens to me.

Like so many other converters, this one also converts into what are “picture boxes” rather than a real, editable Word document. In my opinion, this is as worthless as so many others.
