    Same problem. Will not install, regardless of options.

    I have Ver 10 of this software installed, btw. I just tried to uninstall it repeatedly, and it will NOT uninstall!

    Ver 10 still runs, but after this experience, I’m inclined to forcibly delete all O&O software and avoid them in the future.

    If this is correct, if you have to install Windows before you can restore an image, the software is pretty much useless. Who releases backup software without the ability to create bootable media for full ‘bare metal’ restores?

    My backup/imaging/cloning software of choice is the free version of Macrium Reflect.

    Would not install and run for me. I tried 4 or 5 times, with and with-out the Run as Admin. I even let it update, still would not install and run, on reboot it told me there was an error with O&O and it would not start. No idea why, I’m running Windows 10 Pro, I normally have no issue with the downloads here… and I download a lot.

    Installed on Windows 10 64 Bit system. Followed directions, rebooted and it would not load. Got error message about there not being a image file. Uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled – same thing. Yes, I did download the 64 bit version (double checked that). Waste of time.. Thanks anyway.

    I’m still waiting for my registration info. Sale is over now so I’m going to assume
    that I’m not going to receive anything at this point. I know it’s “free”, but still
    don’t like wasting my time and the aggravation…

    [@sludgehound] It asks for name and company. On the “form” where your serial number shows, the two lines above marked name and “firm”, MY form had my email address in each line. So where the registration form asks for name, put your email and where it asks for company or firm, also put your email address. Also, you can’t copy and paste the serial number. There are two blue lines in the lower left of the registration form. The lower one says to enter the serial number… click this and your copied serial number magically appears! Believe me, it’s worth the effort as the reviews (outside of SOS) are excellent. Go for it!
