To those having a problem: The procedure is different from most Sharewareonsale products. You have to actually READ and FOLLOW the instructions.
When I did that, all went well. Thank you.
The only issue I had was that my actual registration name/code was sent (so far) ELEVEN times. I guess they wanted to be sure I got it.
This is one of the worst German company,(know them for about 15 years now!), they changed names but the tactics are the same. You have to write 10 emails back and forth and build up a lot of anguish with this guys! There are FREEWARE programs better than this, they only change the interface and bells and whistles and watch out for updates that RUIN your Giveaway license in less than a month. My 2c.
I assume this is the Standard version? I don’t see anywhere in the program that it actually says.
BTW, I had no trouble getting an account once my email was authorized, but I had to try three times and wait a while before I finally got a license key. It did eventually arrive.

another thing to point out is that if you have gotten “giveaway already confirmed” email, that means that you have already got PowerArchiver 2016 Standard giveaway license from previous giveaways.
There is no need to stack up on giveaway licenses, as they can be reinstalled and they never expire. They can also be installed on multiple computers you own.
To recover your previous giveaway license, you can go to your account at:

The program is quite good, and the ability to create RAR files is a big plus.John K
If this company tried a little harder I am sure they could make the sign-up process more complicated so that no offers need be fulfilled.
Based on my experience with trying to get the license here, I would never purchase any software from this company.
I see they are located in Virginia. No wonder they use “the impossible D.C. method” to provide service(s).

do not install it takes over all supported formats even if you dis-select associate with power archiver
and while I can understand assassination archive formats why in heck does it associate comic files
now I have to remove it and fix my system
no I don’t want PA opening cbz/cbr files I don’t want it opening cab or rar files especially when I told it to leave them alone
this is 32bit only app and well over 100MB in size I mean I thought winzip was bloatware this is worsefor abandonware this is pure garbage
