Installed fine, but when I try to backup in file mode a library, or anything within, such as documents or pictures, I get an error
“Failed to create file, probably do not have permission. (ErrorCode:0x06213105)”
Backs up desktop OK. Anyone any ideas. I have tried reloading, downloading the trial copy and used the supplied code, and of course running as administrator.
I am running windows 7 x64

I had right clicked to run as Administrator, which did not fix the problem, but running the compatibility troubleshooter in windows 7, and selecting permissions problems did fix it.Just a note, I did generate an error, and had a response whilst typing this update with a resolution from support.
Pretty amazing support, very unexpected with a SharewareOnsale freebee, If this proves useful I would certainly consider buying it.
Ok worked on Windows 10 x64 Pro. Installed it to D: Did C: 237GB SSD to internal D: 3TB HD sata6. One thing I question is that before starting the action there was Source that had 2 check boxes. 1 for the SSD & then noticed a 2nd for the D: hmm. Now I didn’t want to also backup D: to D: though maybe later for that. That was different from Reflect6 which has 2 check boxes but for just the 2 C: partitions that Windows 10 creates (regular & the boot one). So be on watch for what this has selected for you.
At first, estimate countdown clock & speed seemed to go fast. Thought well this beats my Reflect6. But about 25% in a slowdown and countdown clock actually increased a bit, maybe as it checked more of the backup nature. All in all seemed maybe 2 mins faster since I hadn’t set a timer. Say 12min vs 14min.
Didn’t test a recovery time but guess it too takes maybe 20mins. Also haven’t seen if the PE boot disk from Reflect6 works with Qiling. It should.
The extra set of Tools is a big plus, like disk check, wipe, file shredder, Fix Boot, virtual disk image, ramdisk, much more. Good use for all that extra ram memory systems are getting like 32GB. ThanksI have been waiting for a while now to get a good backup software solution and this seems to be it! Lots of handy disk tools as well. Have not used it yet but will be trying it out this weekend. Will update them.

The DOS console on the recovery disk works for renaming and deleting otherwise problematic files (too long filename / path etc.).Have had no problems with Disk Master when managing partitions or if recovering system images.

Installed and reinstalled it on my win 10 64 bit machine, but for some reason none of the tabs in UI would respond when clicked upon, except for the X button which is the only button that works when I want to close the program.
I would love to try this program, but unfortunately I cannot do it.
Is there a way to fix this problem?

I have no such issues when using other programs on this computer.Cheers,

jic, Anyone from qiling reads this. What is up with the network backup location? I have a dedicated WDMycloud and also a asus router w Hard drive attached. Qiling can not see the Mycloud and wont accept the address i put in. I have tried http and https along w static address and port…nothing. Funny thing is it sees the asus. So, i created a folder on that hard drive and tried backing up to it. It completeley ignored it and backed up to the original external HD attached to pc. Is the network backup missing from this version? Sure would like to know. Other than that. I love this software.
I want to use this on a PC with major partition issues but is not connected to the Internet. Can the program be downloaded to a flash drive then installed on the PC? If so – how can I register it w/o Internet connection before the clock strikes twelve?

Very fast response from Qiling idiskhome Support. Unfortunately, they emailed to say they can’t reactivate my lost SoS licence key after their software or my Windows went wrong, but at least they replied and tried to help. Impressive, so am now using Qiling Free, which suits my purposes anyway.
I am looking to learn more about this issue. Thank you for sharing. I will follow this site regularly.
