    More complete information here: http://hackerboards.com/remix-mini-aims-to-be-the-first-serious-android-pc/

It’s basically a small Android box with specs very similar to the generic ones selling for half the price, but the key distinguishing feature is the Remix OS, a fork of Android that attempts to make it more like a mini PC. There are many productivity apps for Android that attempt to replicate desktop PC capabilities, but are awkward to use on regular Android tablet. Remix OS attempts to rectify that by providing a more desktop-like shell that works well with a traditional keyboard+mouse and large monitor as well as a touchscreen. But it doesn’t ship bundled with the productivity apps, and the 1 Gbyte RAM/8 Gbytes storage in this basic model is pretty limited for any multitasking.

Still, it’s a interesting concept, and the prices for these boxes and the Android apps that run on them are so low that it hardly matters if it costs a few dollars more to get a well-tuned solution.
