    [ @Ashraf] The license key is not accepted! What now?

    I just tried out the previously given away version 4.0 again, and with certain kinds of pictures it does a very good job and easier than using a clone tool (although one is included for additional touch-ups, if needed). Looks like I need to back up my system before trying the new version, don’t want to lose the old one. Has anyone else had trouble with the license key? Has anyone gotten it to work?

    [@Mr.Dave] The license was accepted when I attempted registration. Near the field where the license is input, if the license is correct a green message appears confirming same.

    Just like v 4 (this being 5), once registered via code, when run it only displays offer to buy 1 or both programs they sell. App is totally frozen there. Uninstalled w/ Revo.

    Bonjour,
    J’ai déjà utilisé ce logiciel d’édition photos( version 4 ) et je suis très satisfait du travail fourni.
    L’enregistrement se fait lorsque vous cliquez sur presse papier, et en allant dans AIDE…..A PROPOS….vous aurez un message en bas disant que la version a été enregistrée avec succès.
    MERCI.

    Thanks, both of you! One with a good experience, one with bad. If I can get my PC backed up in time to try this, I’ll post my results here as well.

    @Ashraf
    first of all thanks for the offer which indeed gave no problem during installation and registration.
    However, the background eraser is just not good enough. Deinstalled.

    [@Mr.Dave] Update: I had no trouble installing and registering version 5.0. A box popped up to tell me my trial period had ended (I installed new version over the old one) and when I entered the new registration key, all was good — almost.

    I tested 5.0 on the same picture I last tried with 4.0. Program ran much faster but the resulting image was not nearly as good. I think in 4.0 the “object removing mode” was “Inpainting 2” and that’s not in the list in version 5.0. Going from memory here, so I may be way off. I tried the other 3 modes, none worked better but I can see where all would have their place. I was trying to remove an object next to another object, both had the same grassy background. In version 5 I get pieces of nearby objects, in version 5 I just got the grass. All this is highly dependent on the picture you’re adjusting. So 5.0 might work better on other pics. I hope they didn’t trade off capability to improve the speed. Results were worth waiting for in 4.0. But 4.0 is now gone; not worth restoring my SSD to get it back.

    The license key is acceptable but you can’t register with it. What should I do?
