So after 1 year will I be locked out of those accounts being managed by Sticky Password Premium unless I pay for more license?

After 1 year you can either subscribe for another year, get our lifetime license and never have to renew again or you’ll be switched to Free version, more about Free and Premium version can be found here https://www.stickypassword.com/free-password-manager-vs-premium

The ? from mowtay still was not answered. I too would like to know> “So after 1 year will I be locked out of those accounts being managed by Sticky Password Premium unless I pay for more license?” What if after one year we don’t even want the Free Sticky Password. Will we be locked out of those accounts. Easier ?. At any time, when we get rid of Sticky Password will we be locked out of the accounts used with Sticky Password, free or premium?

I purchased a lifetime license several years ago coming over from Dashlane. I tried all of the password managers and for me this one worked the best. I use in on several desktops, laptops, my iPad and Android phone. One of its best features is how it synchronizes your passwords with all your devices.

My only long-standing complaint, and this has been addressed by Sticky Password support, is that it still doesn’t work wit MS Edge. I realize it has something to do with the Windows 10 extensions, but there are quite a few showing up now in Edge. What is the status of Sticky’s compatibility with Edge?

Anyway, do yourself a favor and just download, install and give it a test run. That’s what sold me on the program.

You can export your data from Sticky Password anytime. No matter if you use Free or Premium version. If you choose to process the export in unencrypted format, we recommend to not keep the unencrypted file on your computer for long time.

Unfortunately support of the Edge browser is still complicated because Microsoft supports only selected extensions. General support of extensions necessary for integration of our extension still hasn´t been released by Microsoft as they promised. When they will introduce general support of extensions, we will support this browser as soon as possible.

Buyer Beware! A word of caution: If you try Sticky Password and don’t like it (and I hated it), you must manually uninstall the Sticky Password add-ins to your browsers BEFORE you uninstall Sticky Password from your computer. You uninstall the add-ins from within Sticky Password, hence the need to uninstall them before you uninstall the Sticky Password program.
I realize that whether or not you like a specific password manager is largely a matter of personal taste (much like food). But my educated guess is many people who try it will want to abandon Sticky Password. I tried it for a week and it was a bit of a nightmare to use. Fortunately, Roboform had issued the BETA of its version 8 which is a massive improvement over previous versions — and it’s free for the first time. They also added the ability to import your passwords, etc. from other password managers as well as to export them. All in all, I suspect that for many users, Roboform or another password manager will be a much better choice than Sticky Password.
