What a big disappointment. Finally got all the requirement to “pay what I want” and it says “sale ended”. I guess if you don’t pay the “average” or higher, they don’t you to “pay what you want.”

[@Father Richard] What do you mean? You can still purchase it.

I click on “pay what you want.” I type in $5.00. I click the check out button. It says “Sale ending in:” then in red, “sale ended”. I don’t really need any of these courses, but thought I’d try to see if what I had heard was true. It seems to be. If you “pay what you want” and it’s not what they want – “Sale ended”. It was nice of them to put it in red so you don’t have to search the screen. I then click the large green “check out” button and get redirected to a page displaying the SOS offerings in tile positions. Thanks for all you do, Ashraf. I check your site everyday. These guys have an interesting marketing style.

The very fact that the company behind this hides their name is a clear indication right there. It’s Stackskills, and they don’t have a good rep when it comes to online courses.

Same as Dick, just redirects back to Deals.

Can anyone tell us if they paid less than the “average” price (and got only the “unlocked” courses)? Now when you click “pay what you want” button, the symbols beside the top three courses change from “unlocked” to “locked” as well as the “Sale Ended” notice. So it is not, and has not for days been a “pay what you want” offer. I have other courses I am taking from StackSkills and was very happy with them, until this “offer”. As I stated before, I don’t need these courses (yet) but may some day. I was willing to pay $5.00 for 3 older courses to just have availability to (on a just in case basis) but find such “bait and switch” practices deplorable. It is not and has not been a “Pay What You Want” offer.

Ashraf, Please change the offer to read “Average Price or Above Only” and re-label the offer. It is NOT a “pay what you want” offer. I know you must be busy getting us so many really great offers and running this great site, but this offer is false.
