Wonderfull program!
It does a great deal more than I expected it to do. It is even configurable to scan for rootkits during the boot process.
The UnHackMe monitor can be set to check the system as often as every minute and the Anti-Malware Scan can be set to check every hour. For someone like me who spends a lot of time online and downloading things from all over the Net, that’s a big bonus knowing that UnHackMe is there supporting me against all the scamware and scumware out there.
A tip for other SharewareOnSale users is that as the Terms and Conditions say:
“No free updates; if you update the giveaway, it may become unregistered”
go to “Options>Advanced” and uncheck “Check for Updates” which is checked by default.I’ve done this because on occasion with other SoS giveaways, I’d forgotten that they would become unregistered when updated and just automatically updated when I saw the update notification and either lost the use of the program or had to reinstall the SoS version all over again.

In 2022 Greatis Software relocated from Russia to the USA.[@HardySmifff] What good is anti-malware software that you can’t update?

Avast reports it is infected- IDP.Generic.cb11b1042983.3.2
[@gene] Eset interenet security does not report anything. Provide this information to the developer of this software and let us know whether it is false-positive or not. This makes me confusing having even false-positive in a software which detectes it. Nevertheless it’s worth what the developer thinks about it!
