    Windows protected your PC
Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

    App:
    videomate-install.exe
    Publisher:
    Unknown publisher

Installed and registrered, you have to choose “Advanced” and “Allow Anyway” or “Run” if the smart screen blockate it… Thanks for the giveaway……

Video converters are one of the most plentiful software categories that I know of. (Almost tempted to say “a dime a dozen.”) A lot of them are simply interfaces riding on top of FFMpeg, which I believe is open source — whether so-attributed or not. Some of these are free. Others are branded and endlessly re-branded, by a lot of ostensible foreign companies that are actually operating under the same ownership. (You can tell when the interfaces turn out to be surprisingly similar.) But the better programs in this video apps category are pretty well known by now. Not yet another “WHO is that ?” name that pops up.

Sadly, my personal experience with MediaDimo is that they are either scam artists or totally inept.

Their ‘so-called’ lifetime giveaways are anything but. Once you activate one giveaway others are no longer registered.

I’ve contacted MediaDimo in the past to find that they’re not interested in helping you to resolve ‘problems’ with their registration/activation process. All that they are interested in is selling you the same program that you have already got for ‘free’ … from different giveaway sites, I hasten to add.

I’ve just installed today’s giveaway and on activation found that yet another of their products is no longer registered. (I tried re-entering the giveaway code from that respective giveaway to find that it is now telling me “Wrong registration code.” It appears that although the program(s) is/were installed within the giveaway period that MediaDimo have no intention of sticking by their ‘promise’ of it/them being lifetime registration(s).

The two programs that remain active DO work very well. It’s a shame that they can’t seem to satisfy their other deals.

    [@RockFox] Hi, RockFox

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Some antivirus app blocks it because it is not from an identified developer. I understand what you concern about.

But no worry! Dimo program is trusted and passed by many software download sites like Cnet, Softpedia, etc. It is 100% clean and secure.

If it is refused you could ignore the block and go on with installing and running Dimo app.

We promise there is no harm to your computer and thanks for your understanding in advance.

If there is any other questions, please contact at [email protected]

    [@Carlos] Hi, Carlos

Which program do you refer to? And what is your OS?

You have to take a look at the policy of free giveaway version at first, since some free registration codes could only be registered in limited time, but the code is still lifetime.

Thanks for your support and understanding.

If there is any other questions, please contact at [email protected]

[@Carlos] Which is downloaded link you got? And what is your OS and registration code?

Please make sure you have downloaded the latest version 4.2.0.

And note that windows code can only be used on windows program, while mac code can only be used on mac program.

If it still doesn’t work, you could right click the Videomate icon on your desktop and choose “run as administrator” to run Dimo app.

If there is any other questions, please contact at [email protected]
