The reason I wont try any software like this is because :
1st – The maker of the software should keep it simple, and a Firewall ONLY and not call it PLUS. The reason I say that is the name alone is saying that everybody else is stupid for using the firewall they have which in most case is Windows and or the other well known firewalls. Private Firewall is a joke, and honestly I believe it to be a backdoor software, JUST MY OPINION!
2nd – Nobody likes the fact that on new Windows versions they are trying to make every change to your PC be made in “SETTINGS” where you have ZERO CONTROL over anything, Rather than Control Panel where you can make changes as you see fit. This software’s interface is trying to be METRO like and it leaves you to wonder based on what I just said what might be going on in the background, RATHER THAN LEAVING YOU IN CONTROL.
A special note on everything that I am saying here, and it’s very important, the developer of this software must first understand that the purpose of a FIREWALL is to ALLOW AND HAVE THE USER HAVE TOTAL CONTROL over their software to begin with. Not have someone else decide what is best for them or leave them feeling that if they install that software they are probably hacked or compromised by doing so.
3rd – TOTAL CONTROL over the the software settings means everything! Otherwise it’s not a : FIREWALL, It is a FIRE waiting to happen!!!!!!!!
I must say, I HATE these stupid STORE FRONT and VERIFY ME crap going on. It is really making me not wont to say or reply or do anything on any site that does that BS!!!
While I get that you need security, this “SHOW ME A STORE FRONT : Which I have vision problems and can’t tell WTF if what, Then it says STREET SIGNS and it doesn’t mention whether you should pick the corners of the street signs, and then it says SELECT CARS and it has pictures of TRUCKS in some of the pictures”…….. This stupid : ARE YOU REAL BS is one reason I am probably never replying here and never purchasing anything here. I have ENOUGH aggravation in my own personal life without this BS!!!!!!! A simple “Verify the code would suffice” and if the servers here can’ts deal with that then I probably shouldn’t be considering them anyway.
Either way, This Firewall software PLUS is a big joke and waste of time based on the issues I have mentioned above.
We don’t NEED THE PLUS, we need FIREWALL & TOTAL CONTROL OVER IT, THE PLUS comes with issues and possible back door hacks into our systems…………. JUST SAYIN’……………… MY OPINION ONLY………….
