Mixes feelings. D/L & register a snap Windows 10 x64 Pro. Initial reco of full scan on first run 13 mins on fair sized SSD.
Found gobs of stuff, like 12K ‘issues’. Well geez. So let it do it’s thing. Far too many of the basic finding to go through an find good from not so good choices by it before the FIX. Fix about 4 mins.
One thing I was hoping for was to see if it would changes Win 10 recent turning off NumLock (light too) upon booting. Nope.
Did find turn off FastBoot in Power Options in Control Panel set the entry box for a PIN #s such that just entering the digits w/o touching the NumLock allowed entry to desktop & NumLock lite up. Can live with that. Guess KD just adhering to Windows security pattern now.
First time into desktop KD told me to update Firefox install (rarely use it) due to security hole. Did that. Then behind that it wanted me to update Adobe Photoshop, same warning. Passed on that. Only two concerns. Ran system a bit through some reboots and use. No issues. Oh odd thing is I turned off Auto Start w/ Windows start. Rebooted first time & KD was still active & running. Re unchecked that now check option. Re boot & this time it stayed off, nothing in Task Mgr.
Other nag is the ONE YEAR license. Here’s hoping they offer this yearly here or elsewhere. But not attached enough to pay $.
