This app PREVENTED my PC from shutting down. I have ‘WiseCare Auto Shutdown’ tool that you can set to auto-shutdown your PC via a SCHEDULE. I have used it for 8+ years now. After I installed this FREEBIE Downloader, it locked my PC and basically took over. Not only that, it did other things that interrupted processing on my PC. When I blocked the Internet, it kept trying to go out to the Internet, even tho’ I turned off INTERNET ACCESS within the App’s Options and this was when I WAS NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING. NOT A GOOD THING TO DO TO GIVE THE USER OPTIONS, THEN IGNORE THEM. I will stick with ‘Internet Download Manager’ in which I purchased over a year ago. It is faster at downloading than this piece of faulty software.
