No registration available – did I have an older version that it inherited?
It just crashes when clicking [ Recover ].
I imagine this is like free Recuva by Piriform, where it can scan a working file system, but not dig underneath to rebuild a corrupt partition or file system . . . if it worked at all.
Took a blank USB flash thumb drive, copies some files to it, deleted them then ran recovery.
SoftOrbits Flash Drive Recovery showed no results, and crashed when I clicked [ Recover ].
Free Piriform Recuva worked just fine, deep analyzing, showing results, and recovering files.
I also have a bag of USB flash thumb drives that are dead, and no software even sees them let alone offers to dig and recover partitioning or data contents.
