Maybe it stopped running or slowed way down to allow Zoom to run well? I have an older version of this and never used it because there is no way to easily turn off the “always on” features. I need to dedicate ALL my PC resources to music production when I’m doing that, I can’t have a synth or sampler or my DAW waiting on some other process — that would cause problems in anything I record.
That said, if this backup program can safely get out of the way when another program is running, it might work for me. No details on how long it sleeps before checking again, or how much system activity causes it to pause. Win 11 all by itself is ALWAYS running things, and I turn off what I can when working on music, but what criteria does backup use to decide when to run? And does it create a real disk/partition image, or just a collection of the files from the disk/partition?
