Hey everyone, I wanted to start a discussion on the Cisco DevNet Associate Exam. I have been focusing a lot on APIs and automation, but honestly, I am a bit confused about the best way to practice effectively.

From my experience so far, just watching tutorials or reading documentation does not feel enough. APIs require hands-on practice—like actually making requests, handling responses, and understanding authentication methods. Automation also needs real exposure, especially with tools and scripts.

Recently, one of my colleagues suggested a different approach that worked really well for him. He told me that instead of only relying on theory, he practiced using DevNet Associate Exam Sample Questions from Pass4Future. According to him, these questions helped him understand how APIs and automation concepts are tested in the real exam. He also mentioned that practicing these scenarios improved his confidence and gave him a better idea of the exam pattern. Now I am considering following the same method, but I am still wondering if there are other effective ways to practice. For example, should I spend more time on hands-on labs, use public APIs, or focus mainly on sample questions?

If anyone here has already cleared the exam or is currently preparing, I really appreciate your input. What worked best for you when it came to APIs and automation practice? And do you think relying on the DevNet Associate Exam Sample Questions is enough, or should I combine it with other resources?
