Brute forcing PDF files has NO settings or specifications, no minimum passphrase length or maximum passphrase length no ability to specify the chosen character-set for the brute force attack and no ability to pause an attack and resume it later or specify a starting passphrase so one can have one PC running one subset of possibles and another PC running another subset in parallel. For PDF the passphrase checking rate the rate on this system is between 2000 and 3300 passphrases per second and combination unicode characters are not supported using 100% of 8 CPU computational units but no GPU usage at all. I note that check for update reports a version 1.2 with bugs fixed but on trying to install it all that’s downloaded is 1.1.2 not the 1.2 shown… I’ll probably uninstall as I have other programs that are non-expiring to do this.
