[@[email protected]] no one outside ashampoo knows… as far as I know ashampoo do not have version histories of their products. I suspect this is a different product as it reports it’s version number in the installer as 1.26.4.0 the installed main executables embedded version number is 1.26.4.1 compare it with the embedded version Photo Optimizer 10 main executable and you will see if they are in the same versioning pattern i.e. less than 1.26.4.1 But I strongly suspect they are different products and might install side by side and and co-exist nicely, but I cannot check it as I don’t have Ashampoo Photo Optimizer 10 installed on any of my machines as I’ve never wanted or needed it. I note there is a program called Ashampoo Photo Optimizer FREE that has a significantly bigger installer that reports as 1.26.3.0 installed main executable is 1.26.3.4 both the FREE and the 2026 editions share the same internal identity in that you cannot run both at the same time as the program does not allow multiple instances of itself or same family programs.
NOTE You do NOT have to install this and risk overwriting your previous 10 edition to try this out! YOU can extract the entire contents of the installer to a folder where you can run it by using a program called innoextractor which can be found at havysoft.cl for free, it’s donate-ware freemium.
