GPS Bearing Navigator will show you distance and direction from you current location based on the GPS location service up to a point specified by you (as a decimal coordinate). This app is completely off-line, meaning that as other apps make use of data/internet to calculate distance and bearing this does not and so it is very helpful at sea and trekking where data/internet is not always available. This app uses the internal compass and GPS of your mobile to make the proper calculation and it can store the location of 5 specific points to use them when needed.

The locations of a specific point can be obtained when you are on-line ( on a desktop pc, mac etc.) by using google maps (https://maps.google.com/ find a location, right click on the interested area , select What's here and check coordinates e.g. 40.689249, -74.044533 these are the latitude and longitude. When the coordinates are entered and your GPS is on it will give you the distance and direction (bearing).

The app can also mark point (way-points) of your current location to be used later on the way back, very useful when parking a car in an unknown place and you have to find it back.

Also very good to mark fishing spots in a lake or at sea.

It can be used for trekking to find direction and distance to a specific point.

Car location when parking in open air big car parks.
Finding your friends in big open air parties by asking someone to send you their location.
