Clairvaux makes a very powerful argument against this program (saying that it makes lots of changes automatically without asking for permission). I’m wondering if there is way to use it (eg a Preference or Option) that allows it to be used properly – such that it makes no changes other than ones you actively choose?
I don’t know exactly what he is referring to, i only have one cascading context menu entry for FileMenu Tools, probably how it was supposed to be and i have lots of context menu entries from other programs that do not interfere with each other, there shouldn’t be any separate entry out of line, except those you may specify on your own in the configuration afterwards. There is a option called “Show all the commands in submenu“, since i already had a previous version of it, i don’t know if it’s enabled by default but yes, if it’s disabled, it literally spams your context menu with default and existing entries, like a lot but you can enable and disable that option at any time in the configuration and you can also delete whatever standard/default entry you don’t like (like the icons for standard commands he talked about because they may be applied system-wide, thus programs using default Windows Explorer may see those icons exactly how FileMenu Tools applied them.
