Like many of the others, I had issues with this software installation.
For the record, I am running Win10 Home x64 on an SSD with separate graphics card. I was installing to the “D”, not “C”, partition where I have all my installed programs on.
After installation a message popped-up over the installer’s finish screen stating something like ‘could not complete installation, restart your PC and then run install again to complete’. I restarted and, like the others, the bootup screen gave ‘attempting to repair’ message, then a ‘diagnosing problem’ message, then blue screen reading ‘couldn’t repair your PC’ with the choice of “turn off PC” or “restart” or “advanced options”. First I chose “restart” and the exact same thing so I then chose the latter, went into “troubleshoot” and between “reset PC” and “system restore”, again I chose the latter. THANK GOODNESS I had created a restore point this morning!
The reviews on the offering page are good so I wanted this but am quite apprehensive now.
Sadly, I don’t anticipate any response here as it seem no one reads these discussion pages on this site. For that reason, I’ve always thought there should be one comment thread right on the offering page to include reviews and questions so they are seen, similar to the way GOTD does. Anyway, I do hold out hope that someone from this vendor can address these issues as they do not seem to be isolated since it seems to have happened to many of us.
