This is the “Basic” version, which is sold by subscription for €18/year. There are also a “Free” and two “Pro” versions. You can find the differences among the four available versions on their website (under “Buy”), but the Basic version is reasonably useful, and its commercial lifetime license is generous. The primary restrictions are (1) 20,000 files, (2) 100 emails, and (3) 25 rules. These three rules together mean that anyone looking to organize a large collection of files, which is what Tabbles is presumably meant for, will find this version too limited, and corporate users will be unhappy that emails are included only as a trial. Most SOS users will be satisfied, I think. Bear in mind that, as the first reviewer mentioned, consistent and conscientious file tagging is essential to getting value out of this program, and it is hard to maintain that over time unless it is an essential part of your job. Otherwise, there are eventually so many non-tagged files that you stop using the application. I’ve gone through that, and I felt oddly free once I decided to stop trying to tag everything, and I found that I could retrieve files almost as well without all of the tagging work. The automatic tagging rules should reduce the manual effort involved, but I found I had to tag almost everything by hand, anyway.
