I sent this message to SoftOrbits support:

I’m very confused. I got an offer for Easy Photo Unblur from SharewareOnSale.com. When I entered the license key they gave me (lifetime use, no support), the program said I could request a free full license key with 1 year of support/updates. That took me to your website where I created an account with my email, and a box that said “Show License Key”. That box is empty. Clicking in or near it, or on the button next to it, does not give a license key. I re-loaded the web page, same issue. Right now I feel like your “offer” is intended to get my email address with nothing in return. And what happens at the end of the 1 year “upgrade”, does the program stop working or does support stop or both?

If I ever hear back from them I’ll post an update.

I did try the program on one picture of several boxes on a shelf. Original had a small depth of field, so center of shot was in focus but boxes closer or farther away were not. I tried many combinations of presets and slider adjustments, most seemed to crank up the contrast and overly brighten the picture. Took about 20 seconds for the process each time. I used the sharpen filter in an old copy of Google’s Picassa on the same pic and to my eyes, it did a much better job. I could adjust the amount of sharpening and see results almost as fast as I could click the mouse. It didn’t have an overwhelming effect on contrast or brightness, just improved clarity. Maybe Easy Photo Unblur works better with different kinds of pictures. If anyone gets good results, let us know the details. Thanks!
