I already have the “Automatically run program when booting” checkbox unticked and applied but it still starts after each boot.
After the initializing dialog, it prompts for me to choose the language, and the default is already on English, so I click OK, and then a dialog comes up stating: “Secure PC has stopped working” “Windows is checking for a solution to the problem…” and then that dialog is finally closed.
If the program stops after trying to start, I would be leery of depending on it, however I still would like to know what is causing the program to stop.
This is an example of why this type of program is risky to use, because if it crashes upon startup, but the user needs the program to work in order to access their files, they are in a dire situation; a dilemma that is not easily solved. First a program has to be reliable. Only then can it be depended on for its intended use. Right now, you have a program that is not dependable, and that can put a lot of data at risk.
